Nostalgic Friday

March 6, 2009 at 12:03 PM Leave a comment

As I mentioned earlier this week, I’m starting a weekly post on Fridays where I post an old story, movie, or photo, hence the name Nostalgic Friday.

This video is a compilation of several clips from the greatest sporting experience in my life, when UT played USC in the Rose Bowl for the 2005 National Championship. The whole video is about two and a half minutes long, but is comprised of several clips less than 30 seconds in length. (Don’t worry, they’re not all shots of plays…) My camera wasn’t very good at the time still isn’t very good, but I think the clips give a good idea of what it was like to be there: the excitement & the enormity of the event. Enjoy!

If you would like to do your own Nostalgic Friday post, I’d love to see what you write. Please leave me a comment and link to your blog, and when you write the post, link back to our blog when you mention Nostalgic Friday. If we eventually get enough interest in this, I’ll do that whole Mr. Linky thing.

My parents start their journey here this afternoon. They’ll arrive tomorrow morning (late night for you guys in the States), and we’ll explore Frankfurt for a bit if they’re not too tired. More updates & photos are sure to follow!
